Ah, the joys of being a modern writer.
The next ebook is well into the second draft and I’m happy with the way it’s going. I hope to have it done by the end of this month and off to the editor for feedback. Over 100,000 words I note.
I’ve always been a goal-setting kind of person but I’ve recently “discovered” Bullet Journalling.
I’m experimenting with it as well as a system of “8-week project setting”.
Goal Setting And Projects
I’ll get back to you but so far I rather like the journalling system as I’m probably more organized than I have been in years. (decades?) 😉 I’ve been using inexpensive school notebooks and not the more costly bound books used in the videos.
One of the main features of the project system is you work like mad for six weeks on a single project. On week seven you review and clean up the project as well as planning for the next 8-week project.
On week 8, you take a holiday. I like this idea of scheduled holidays on a regular basis. So for my first “holiday”, I declared a stay-cation to…
I’m taking the second week of March off to repaint my office. That means several hundred books have to be moved. Three rather large bookcases, etc etc. (One took what one got in extra paint from the bottoms of cans when one moved into an old house 11 years ago.)
Here comes bright yellow. and bright blue. I’m lighting up the place. It’s my winter present from me to me.
The less said, the better. It’s here and so am I. Now, next year…
Dreams are pretty special things aren’t they?
